Solopreneur Coliving Experience
Build a business that fits the life you want.
September 1-28, 2026
What is the Solopreneur Coliving Experience?
A 4-week coliving experience in Chiang Mai
Most programs for new founders assume you already know what you are building and just need to go faster. They hand you a framework and a finish line. This one starts with understanding what kind of life you want and which business would suit your values. The hard part is no longer whether you can build something. It is knowing what is worth building, and whether it fits the life you want. The tools available today have made building quick and cheap, and it has never been easier to race ahead on the wrong thing while feeling behind the whole time. A month of clarity, spent with people who have done it, is worth far more than another sprint in the wrong direction.
For four weeks at the heart of CosmoLocal CNX in Chiang Mai, you work on your own project inside a calm, structured environment, alongside a small cohort at the same early stage and mentors who have built real businesses. Whatever you are building, a coaching or consulting practice, a content or education business, a wellness brand, a service business, a software or AI product, or an online store, there is no single formula you have to follow, because there is no single right way to build. The month is designed to send you home with clarity, momentum, and a direction you could not have reached alone.

Who is this coliving experience for?
This is for builders
Come with an open mind. That is the only real requirement. You do not need a finished plan, a validated idea, or an existing business. You need to be curious and willing to do the work. Most people arrive as one of these:
- The explorer. You are considering entrepreneurship but are not sure it is for you. You want a month to try it on, around people who have made the leap, before you commit.
- The early builder. You have started. You are ideating or building, maybe with your first bit of revenue, and you want clarity on what to build and the people and structure to do it well.
The realigner. You already have a business or marketable skills, but you have hit a ceiling or lost the thread. You want to rebuild around the life you actually want, not the one the work dragged you into.

Final Project:
Demo Day
4-week program
Our program is structured across four themes

Week 1: Clarity
Before touching the business, get clear on what you want from it and from your life. Values, the lifestyle you are actually designing for, a sustainable pace. The foundation everything else builds on.

Week 2: Community
Build real relationships with the cohort and with Chiang Mai's local founders. Peer accountability, time with people in the same boat, and visits to see how local businesses operate.

Week 3: Traction
Turn clarity into motion. Take the next concrete step on your project, whatever that is at your stage, with mentors close at hand.

Week 4: Systems and Demo Day
Put in place the tools, workflows, and AI that buy back your time, and prepare to share your progress at Demo Day with the support of a coach. You leave with a direction and a simple plan for what is next.
What Will You Get After 4 Weeks?
Coliving experience takeaways

- Clarity on what you want to build and the life you want around it, written down as your own anchor for the months after you leave.
- Something real, shipped. Everyone leaves with a concrete output: a launch, an offer, a system, or a sale, depending on your stage, and you will have help getting there.
- A direction you can act on, your first concrete steps turned from “I should start” into “I know what I am doing on Monday”.
- A cohort of friends who get it, built over four weeks of working side by side, the people you will keep thinking out loud with long after the month ends.
- Honest mentorship from people who have built businesses, across several different paths, including the one-on-ones that past participants valued most. And a close-up look at how real businesses run, from the Chiang Mai founders and CosmoLocal community you meet in person.
Cosmo Local CNX
Part of Something Bigger: Cosmo Local CNX
This is one of four coliving experiences running side by side in September under CosmoLocal CNX, a month-long popup village in Chiang Mai's Wat Ket district. The others cover Food That Nourishes Us, AI for Chiang Mai, and Nomad Futures Lab. You are part of your own Solopreneur cohort, but you share the neighbourhood, the coworking hub, and a stream of cross-track events with everyone else, so the cross-pollination is built in. Main Week runs September 23-28: six days of keynotes, workshops, demos, and shared experiences with hundreds of additional guests, and your Main Week ticket is included. Learn more about CosmoLocal CNX here.
Demo Day is the Solopreneur finale, held on September 26 as part of Main Week, and it is meant to feel good, not nerve-wracking. You share your business or progress with an audience of founders, local entrepreneurs, and CosmoLocal guests, and you prepare for it with a coach in the lead-up. No high-stakes pitch, just a warm chance to show what you have been working on to people who can use it, support it, or help it grow.
coworking hub
Where you'll learn and work
Alt_PingRiver is the shared coworking hub for all four CosmoLocal tracks, and it is where your workshops, mentor sessions, and day-to-day building happen. Open 24/7, with fast internet, quiet focus zones, and communal areas where the best conversations start.
It also has a common kitchen for cooking, meal prep, and small food events through the month.

Where you'll stay
You stay at CHU Hotel, a contemporary boutique hotel set within the old riverside community of Wat Ket, a short walk from Alt_PingRiver and the main program venues. Chiang Mai's markets, eateries, and the Ping River are all an easy walk away.

Frequent Asked questions
Any queries?
How do I apply?
Fill out the application form via the Apply button. Spots are limited to 10-12 and reviewed on a rolling basis, so applying early is worth it.
What do I need to join?
An open mind, mostly. You do not need a finished plan, a validated idea, or an existing business. Plenty of people come precisely to work out whether and what to build. Curiosity and a willingness to do the work matter more than a polished pitch.
What kinds of businesses do people build here?
What is CosmoLocal CNX and how does this fit in?
CosmoLocal CNX is a month-long popup village in Chiang Mai's Wat Ket district, running through the whole of September 2026. Four coliving experiences happen simultaneously, Solopreneur, Food That Nourishes Us, AI for Chiang Mai, and Nomad Futures Lab, each with its own cohort and theme, all sharing the same neighbourhood, coworking hub, and a set of cross-track events. As a Solopreneur participant, you're part of your own cohort and program, but you'll also mix with the other tracks throughout the month and at Main Week.
Can I work on other projects or a job during the month?
A little, yes. Part-time outside work is manageable, ideally under 20 hours a week. But be honest with yourself: the program plus your own project already asks for close to full-time energy, and people who tried to carry a full-time job alongside felt stretched and got less from the month. If you cannot step back from full-time work for September, this is probably not the right round for you.
