Sam Chua is a cultural entrepreneur, human systems researcher, and founding curator at Seapunk Studios, an open roaming research-and-imagination collective exploring solarpunk-inspired futures for Southeast Asia and the Global South. Based in Asia, he lives, when not otherwise roaming, in Kuala Lumpur.
Sam previously co-hosted CPR, the Citizenship Protocols Residency in Argentina last year (along with Plumia and Edge City Patagonia), where a few dozen transdisciplinary researchers, builders, and practitioners researched, imagined, and prototyped ideas around “good (experimental) globalization” relating to futures around nomads, societies, visas and borders, high-agency human circulations, and more.
