Cosmo Local Pot Luck

by Cosmo Local CNX | May 22, 2026 | Events | 0 comments

When: Evening during Main Week
Where: Old Chiang Mai Cultural Center, Chiang Mai
Capacity: ~200 guests

The Chiang Mai pot luck is the warmest night of Main Week. An evening built around the most universal thing there is, food and the stories behind it. The Cosmo Local Pot Luck seats Chiang Mai locals and CosmoLocal CNX participants together in small groups of 4 to 6, half local and half visitor. Each person brings something to share and, more importantly, a story to tell about it. It is not a dinner party. It is a structured conversation over food, designed to turn strangers into people who actually know each other.

Format

Small tables of 4 to 6 guests (half Cosmo, half Local). Each person shares the dish they brought and the story behind it. Participants from abroad can order from a pre-selected list of local vendors and cooks (details TBC).

Collaborators

  • Dev Lewis, Food That Nourishes Us Residency Lead. Shapes the food experience and cultural programming throughout the month.
  • Thai Co-Lead, local co-lead coordinating Thai participant engagement and home-cooked contributions. Name TBC.
  • Teddy, on-the-ground coordinator for the evening.

Sponsors

Sponsorship for the Cosmo Local Pot Luck is to be confirmed. Details will be updated once finalized.
